He’s walking towards the camera so the audience want to know where he is coming from and where he is going. The car is going fast and not stopping at the light; shows crime, suggests the person driving is the main character. Only see the back of the man, who is he? See a glimpse of his face, half covered by his hat, small clue that audience want more of.
